Sublustrum Playtest: Steam Access & October 12–25 Dates

How do I get into the Steam playtest?

1. Open the Sublustrum Steam store page and confirm app 4151300.
2. Sign into the Steam account you intend to use.
3. Find the playtest section and use Request Access.
4. Once Steam grants access, find Sublustrum Playtest in your library and install it.

If you made a request during the closed test, check your account and library rather than assuming that an old request guarantees current installation access. We have not tested approval speed on a fresh account, and the announcement does not establish a guaranteed waiting time.

What is playable, and for how long?

The October 5 announcement schedules an updated first chapter for October 12–25, 2026. The October 12 launch announcement confirms that the public test opened and says it runs until October 25. Neither establishes a precise cutoff hour or timezone.

The launch description places the opening in the Professor’s home, where you investigate traces and restore machinery. It does not publish a full route. Trailers and store screenshots can illustrate the wider remake; they are not proof that every shown location belongs to this test.

What changed after the closed test?

The developers say they revised controls, environmental interactions, puzzles, audio and the interface. The October 2 feedback notes discuss device response and inventory usability in more detail. Our Echophone guide explains the supported device information without publishing unverified solutions.

Where should I send feedback?

Use the short survey linked directly in the game. For a reproducible issue, state the location, build if visible and actions taken. The developer directs puzzle discussions to the playtest forum, and links its community from official announcements. Mark spoilers before describing a solution.

Before playing, read session preparation and PC requirements. For the complete game’s current window, see release-date verification.
